Roskomnadzor Advises Russian VPN Providers to Avoid Foreign Encryption Protocols

The press service of Roskomnadzor (RKN) has recommended that Russian virtual private network (VPN) providers refrain from using foreign encryption protocols for data transmission. In case of technical necessity, it is advised to submit a request to the Center for Monitoring and Management of the Public Communication Network (ЦМУ ССОП).
